Charles Dixon Clarke
Charles Dixon Clarke was
born December 26, 1946 in Long Beach, California. His mother was Helen Andrews Clarke and
father, Charles Dixon Clarke II.
After the birth of Dixon, Helen and son
returned to South America where Charles Dixon Clarke II was working as engineer
of copper and gold mines. A boy, William
"Billy" was born May 13, 1943 in Chuquicamata, Chile.
Both boys spoke Spanish
fluently. Dixon and Billy were sent to
prep school in the U.S. when in their early teens. Dixon graduated from Denver University in
1970. He attended Coleman College in San
Francisco and has a degree in computer science.
At one time Dixon operated
a taxi company in Denver and later moved to San Diego, California where his
parents lived after his Dad had retired.
Dixon worked in San Diego
before and after his father died in 1991.
Dixon met Natasha Vilchek, who was born in the Ukraine, July 22, 1952.
She had been married before and has a son,
Gregory Chapkis, born June, 16, 1979, in Kiev, Ukraine.
Dixon moved to Vacaville,
California, where he had purchased five acres of land. Dixon would go back to San Diego to visit his
mother and also Natasha. Dixon proposed
marriage to Natasha, she accepted and they now live in Vacaville. The fields
around their home are covered with thistle weeds that are like needles. Dixon bought some brown or tan colored sheep
that eat these weeds, however coyotes will come and kill the sheep. Dixon bought two Llamas to scare or kill the
coyotes. The problem was solved.
Natasha is a dance
instructor and her son; Gregory is a dancer and the lead dancer in "Bugs
Bunny" at Marine World. Dixon (in
the year 2001) was buying older homes in Vacaville, restoring and selling them.
